The Raven Age have been described as "melodic groove metal" and rank among the brightest new metal hopes of the UK. Their 2014 "The Raven Age" EP was received favorably and their full-length debut "Darkness will rise" (2017) was an instant success. In their relatively short existence, the band have also become a heralded live act, touring with the likes of Anthrax, Tremonti and Iron Maiden (whose bassist Steve Harris is the father of The Raven Age guitarist George Harris). The Raven Age are once morse supporting Iron Maiden on the latter's European tour.
