Unfortunately, Annihilator has had to cancel their show at this year's festival. The band has a new deadline for their coming album and need to focus on the recording. Annihilator will instead be playing at Sweden Rock Festival 2020.

Their replacement will be the Swedish death metal legends Unleashed, and this will be the first time in 10 years they play at Sweden Rock. Unleashed will be taking over Annihilators slot; Sweden Stage, 19.15-20.30 on Saturday the 8th of June.

UNLEASHED (SE)

Unleashed is one of "the big four" in Stockholmian death metal (alongside Entombed, Dismember and Grave), and remain one of the most popular and respected bands of the genre. Largely thanks to their uncompromising consistensy. Listen to their debut "Where no life dwells" (1991) and their thirteenth and most recent album "The hunt for White Christ" (2018), and you'll hear the same genuine, Viking-themed death metal.

Organic news in the Pilgrim Bar! The Pilgrim Bar is our first organic bar, located in the new food area The Smoke Pit. Here we will serve organic beer on tap, the unfiltered Falcon Pilgrim eco beer, the all new organic cider Somersby Cloudy Pear and organic wine. Of course we also have several non-alcoholic options. The beer and the cider are - like most of the drinks all over the festival - produced at Carlsberg Sweden's brewery in Falkenberg or at the water production center in Ramlösa. In 2017, Carlsberg was the first large brewery in Sweden to start producing carbon-dioxide neutrally, with 100 % "green"...

In addition to the large lavatory villages from last year, we are adding two more. One between Rock and Festival Stage, and one by the Sweden-Stage area. - We are increasing the festival surface by...

THE SMOKE PIT is an area made to be comfier and calmer, and since we have understood that you would like more sitting areas, we have added plenty! The food varies from high quality BBQ, awesome burgers and award-winning street food, to game (?), fresh pasta and food from all over the world. We are also focusing on high...

Rock Fossil exhibition visits Sweden Rock Festival! Rock Fossils is a unique travelling exhibition, focusing on bizarre and long-gone organisms, all named after well-known rock stars! This exhibition will offer a view of life-equal sculptures of fossils, most of them named after artists who have performed at Sweden Rock; Lemmy Kilmister, King Diamond, The Tolis brothers, Alissa White-Gluz and Eluveitie, to name a few. If you find the exhibition intriguing, you can learn even more by listening to one of the originators, scientist Dr. Mats E. Eriksson when he gives a lecture.
