Another batch of bands confirmed!

Nyhetsbrev-och-web-stillbild-loggor-slapp-9_1.jpgMESHUGGAH, URIAH HEEP, BUCKCHERRY, BARONESS, COVEN, DESTRUCTION, FOCUS and TORCH are now confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2018.

Hailing from Umeå, Sweden, Meshuggah, have been pushing the boundaries of what is technically possible within the realms of extreme metal since the early 90's. There intense light show is best enjoyed in darkness, the band will be closing the Friday night festivities, starting right after the Ozzy Osbourne concert.

Also confirmed for next year's festival are one of the true giants of 70's hard rock, Uriah Heep, along with Californian rockers Buckcherry, SRF debutants Baroness, 60's occult rock pioneers Coven featuring singer Jinx Dawson, classic German thrash metal trio Destruction, Dutch prog icons Focus and one of the earliest Swedish heavy metal bands, Torch.

Another 28 acts, out of a total of 80, are still to be announced.

Yes featuring ARW, who are coming to Sweden Rock this summer, are centered around original vocalist Jon Anderson, guitarist Trevor Rabin who composed their super hit ''Owner of a lonely heart'', and the band's classic keyboard player Rick Wakeman. Saturday tickets also sold out The 1-day tickets for Saturday June 9th are now sold out as well. That means that all ticket categories for 2018 are sold out.
