We understand that there is uncertainty regarding the Police's bag ban and its impact on this year's festival. We have had to wait to make a statement as there have been uncertainties about how long the ban would last and to what extent it would affect the festival.   We will follow the Police guidelines that apply at the time of the festival, which currently means a total bag ban in the festival area. We're incredibly happy to announce that Talisman - A Tribute to Marcel Jacob is confirmed for this summer's festival!   Marcel Jacob (1964-2009) who would've turned 60 this year, was Talisman's bassist and undisputed leader. In his honor, the band's music will be performed by his surviving bandmates - singer Jeff Scott Soto, guitarist Fredrik Åkesson and drummer Jamie Borger. Bassist Johan Niemann (Evergrey) completes the lineup, in a way that guarantees that classics like "I'll be waiting", "Mysterious" and "Colour my XTC" will be played in a way worthy of one of Sweden's greatest hard rock bands ever.   Right now, there's an ongoing fundraising campaign in Marcel Jacob's name in support of the organization Suicide Zero. Unfortunately, we have to announce that TWIN TEMPLE is canceling their performance at Sweden Rock Festival 2024. At the same time, we are pleased to announce that they will be replaced by LUCIFER! Heavy retro rockers Lucifer were formed by German singer Johanna Sadonis and debut album "Lucifer I" arrived in 2015. Then Sadonis teamed up with songwriting partner and drummer Nicke Andersson (Hellacopters, ex-Entombed) and moved the band to Stockholm. Lucifer's sound is based on analogue arrangements, predominantly 70s' influences, and occult overtones. Every album has reinformed their positions as rising stars on the scene, a development likely to continue with their current, stellar album "Lucifer V".

Welcome to SKOGEN by The Wanted - the new area among the trees behind Rock Stage! Here you'll find, among other things, a wine bar from The Wanted Zin, specialty bars from Liquid Industries with their pre-mixed Ready-To-Drink beverages like Mojito and Bellini, Briska cider bar, and an international craft beer bar featuring mixed brands. Additionally, a new restaurant: Harvest by Mannerström, operated by chef Sebastian Mannerström.
