Swiss-American multi-instrumentalist Marcel Gagneaux is the man behind the eccentric avantgarde metal project Zeal & Ardor. Its original blend of black metal and spirituals was augmented by soul, industrial, alternative movie music and much, much more. The three albums "Devil is fine" (2016), "Stranger fruit" (2018) and "Zeal & Ardor" (2022) have met with exceptional acclaim and if you like "boundaryless" brutal music like Devin Townsend and Igorrr, this will prove another favorite.
