Can you mix stoner with both modern and old-fashioned prog? Apparently you can, since Sweden's Gaupa have been doing it on one EP ("Gaupa", 2018) and two albums ("Feberdröm", 2020), "Myriad", 2022). And don't let those Swedish titles "fool" you: Gaupa alternate freely between Swedish and English lyrics. The result has been praised by audiences and critics alike, and so has Emma Näslund's eclectic, Björk-reminiscent vocals.
