Since the legendary Dave Mustaine debuted with his Megadeth in 1985 the band has released sixteen studio albums in total, including several masterpieces of thrash metal. "Peace sells ... but who's buying?" (1986), "Rust in peace" (1990), "Countdown to extinction" (1992) and most recently "The sick, the dying ... and the dead" (2022), to name but a few. Megadeth rightly rank among the "Big Four" of thrash and their current star-studded lineup is rounded out by drummer Dirk Verbeuren (ex-Soilwork), bassist James LoMenzo (ex-White Lion) and guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari (Wintersun).
