Blackie Lawless and cohorts have held a special place in the hearts of Swedes ever since their 1984 eponymous debut. From these early shock rock days, to latter day grandiose concept albums like "The crimson idol" (1992), and everything else as well, W.A.S.P. have upheld their position as one of the greatest glam metal bands ever. So now, on their 40th anniversary, there was never any doubt that they would come and delight their generations of Swedish fans with classics like "I wanna be somebody", "Blind in Texas" and "Wild child".
