Michael Schenker Group, or MSG, debuted in 1980 after the guitar legend from UFO and the Scorpions, Michael Schenker, formed his own band. In addition to Schenker's guitar playing, MSG were also hailed for their strong songs: "Armed and ready", "Cry for the nations" and "Ready to rock", to name but a few. Though the prolific Schenker have had additional projects since then, successful as well, he has still to date released as many as sixteen studio albums with the Michael Schenker Group - with a seventh one planned for 2024, undoubtedly as well-played and anthemic as we've learned to expect from Michael Schenker.
