When Ice Nine Kills formed in Boston in 2000 as Ice Nine they played ska punk. They gradually moved on to an ambitious line of horror-themed metalcore, and had their first major success with third album "The predator becomes the prey" (2014). Their career has only improved from there, and with "The silver scream" (2018) och "The silver scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood" (2021), vocalist Spencer Charnas & Co have grown into certified genre titans.
