Gloryhammer first emerged in the creative mind of Alestorm leader Christopher Bowes: a tongue-in-cheek power metal project with songs definitely not to be dismissed. The debut "Tales from the kingdom of Fife" arrived in 2013 and the band in fantasy outfits and with stories from a magical alternate Scotland immediately won over power metal audiences. Their fourth, most recent and aptly titled album "Return to the kingdom of Fife" (2023) is their first with Sozos Michael as the singer and concept story hero Angus McFife.
