Wolfgang Van Halen played bass in the final lineup of his father Eddie's and uncle Alex' band Van Halen, as well as in Tremonti. In 2020 he released "Distance", a tribute song to Eddie, which was followed by the album "Mammoth WVH" the following year. The eponymous project, whose second album is in its recording phase, has received much praise for its well-crafted, genre-defying sound, and it can safely be said that Wolfgang is living up to the family name.
