Sweden's first major black metal band are still every bit as cherished by their fans. Even their classic 1991 demo "Fuck me Jesus" put Marduk on the extreme metal map. Thereafter they have mixed religious themes with World War II observations on fourteen studio albums, among other things. Every one of those has, to the delight of Marduk's fan, preserved that venerable black metal bite, so their fifteenth album "Memento mori" - their first in five years - is highly anticipated to say the least.
