Alongside Dream Theater, New Jersey's Symphony X is the most beloved and influential of the 90s prog metal pioneers. Ever since their 1994 debut the band have only got more popular - their shift to an even more metallic sound on their three most recent albums "Paradise lost" (2007), "Iconoclast" (2011) and "Underworld" (2015) was greeted with enthusiasm by the fans. Pending their highly anticipated tenth studio album, due for release in 2023, it will be a great pleasure to once more see powerhouse vocalist Russell Allen & Co at SRF, where their strong liveshow has always met with roaring praise.
