In 2004, lauded singer Myles Kennedy (currently also in Slash's band) joined forces with three quarters of post-grunge heroes Creed. The result was Alter Bridge, one of the leading heavy rock bands of the 2000s. Their seven studio albums have sold over five million copies and produced such classics as "Blackbird", "Addicted to pain", "Show me a leader" and most recently "Silver tongue". Alter Bridge famously prefers to perform their pensive but contagious music on smaller venues, but fortunately, for SRF they are willing to make an exception.
