Somewhat ironically, Maryland's Clutch, who arrived during the alternative wave of the 90s, rank among the most cherished defenders of traditional rock in our time. Then again, Clutch were never that traditional, in the sense bound by rules. On the contrary, from their 1993 debut to their most recent and thirteenth studio album "Sunrise on Slaughter Beach" (2022), Neil Fallon & Co have upheld their unique and unpredictable profile. Which is decidedly why they have amassed such a loyal and devoted fanbase.
