In the late 90s, New York's Pist.On was a prominent name in alternative metal. Their debut "Number one" (1996), produced by Josh Silver from their pals in Type O Negative, was a success with fans and critics alike with its dark, melodious sound, ripe with social commentary. Internal struggles and a less successful sophomore album contributed to the band splitting up in 2001. Today, Pist.On are back, as always under the leadership of singer/guitarist Henry Font, and will be hard at work in 2018 celebrating "25 years of gloom".
