Florida's Kamelot is one of the biggest, and most groundbreaking bands in power metal and symphonic metal. They debuted in 1995 and not least the concept album duo "Epica" (2003) and "The black halo" (2005) have gone down in metal history. Over the years, Kamelot have successfully reinvented themselves multiple times, not least since the arrival of Swedish singer Tommy Karevik on "Silverthorn" (2012). The band are now breaking a five year album drought with their thirteenth studio effort "The awakening, and so far there are no signs of them losing their grip on their audience.
