One of the earliest and most legendary hard rock bands of all time, Britain's Deep Purple, have endured numerous lineup changes and one extended break since their 1968 debut. Still, today they cannot only boast immortal albums like "In rock" (1970), "Machine head" (1972) and "Perfect strangers" (1984) - they are also having second wind once more with such records as "Now what?!" (2013) and "Whoosh!" (2020). 2023 will mark the SRF debut, not for the band, but for new guitarist Simon McBride who, despite the gigantic shoes he has to fill, has already been enthusiastically received by the band's famously loyal fanbase.
