Horndal originate from a small mill town of the same name, deep in the woods of Sweden, and have assumed the role of heralds for a dying countryside. They describe themselves as "rusty metal": roughly a mixture of metal, sludge and hardcore. Since 2017 they have released an EP and two albums, most recently "Lake drinker" in 2021, written as a reaction to how nature around Horndal town has been exploited.
