16 studio albums and over 8 million records sold make Sodom one of the titans of thrash. Their earliest releases in 1985-86 paved the way for modern heavy metal, and the great success "Agent Orange" (1989) gave them their big break. To this day, To Angelripper (vocals/bass) and cohorts have stayed true to ruthless speed and war-orientated lyrics as the foundation for Sodom's sound. Their latest album "Genesis XIX" (2020), their first as a four-piece and with classic guitarist Frank Blackfire back in the fold, pleased loyal fans by being an even more brutal treat than usual.
