Switzerland's Eluveitie (pronounced "el-vay-tee") is one of fhe biggest names in modern folk metal. The band, formed by singer Chrigel Glanzmann, combines traditional Celtic melodies with the brutality of "the Gothenburg sound". Their first record arrived in 2004 and lauded concept album "Helvetios" (2012) was a great career boost. And Eluveitie's popularity shows no sign of waning yet - their eighth and most recent studio album "Ategnatos" (2019) is one of their most successful.
