Opeth debuted in 1995 as an unusual hybrid of death metal and progressive rock. They were quite successful, and even more so since they whole-heartedly embraced their progressive side from their tenth studio album "Heritage". Three more albums later, singer/guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt & Co have unleashed "In cauda venenum", a tremendous critical success available with Swedish and/or English vocals.
