Today Dropkick Murphys were supposed to enter the stage in Norje for the first time in Sweden Rock history.
As we all know that didn't happen, but sometimes good things come to those who wait.
Many of you have requested this "AC/DC of Celtic punk rock" so we are excited to announce that the band is now re-confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2022!
This will be the only Dropkick Murphys show in Sweden next summer.
Another 12 bands out of a total of 89 bands remain to be announced.

CONFIRMED: TALISMAN - A TRIBUTE TO MARCEL JACOB We're incredibly happy to announce that Talisman - A Tribute to Marcel Jacob is confirmed for this summer's festival! Marcel Jacob (1964-2009) who would've turned 60 this year, was Talisman's bassist and undisputed leader. In his honor, the band's music will be performed by his surviving bandmates - singer Jeff Scott Soto, guitarist Fredrik Åkesson and drummer Jamie Borger. Bassist Johan Niemann (Evergrey) completes the lineup, in a way that guarantees that classics like "I'll be waiting", "Mysterious" and "Colour my XTC" will be played in a way worthy of one of Sweden's greatest hard rock bands ever.
