Another 10 bands confirmed!

Today we are happy to announce another 10 bands confirmed for this summer's festival.


The latest additions to the line-up are British heavy metal legends Saxon, the brand new outfit Deadland Ritual - comprised of Geezer Butler (ex-Black Sabbath), Matt Sorum (ex-Guns n' Roses), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) and Franky Perez (Apocalyptica) - rising Polish black metal stars Batushka, Stockholm funk rockers Electric Boys, Blue Öyster Cult/Alice Cooper offspring Blue Coupe, party stoner quartet Royal Republic, pop metal heads Dynazty, the celtic influenced Sir Reg, Canadian rock'n'rollers The Wild! and Italian music university graduates Black Mamba.

 

60 out of 82 acts for 2019 are hereby announced, including Kiss, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Slayer, Tenacious D and Disturbed.

 

4-day tickets sold out in less than forty minutes, and yesterday the 3-day tickets sold out as well.

VIP tickets are still available, and the 1-day tickets will go on sale when the line-up and schedule are finished.

SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL 2020 CANCELLED In the last few weeks we have been working hard investigating the possibilities to reschedule the 2020 festival from June to the end of the summer. For a while it looked doable, as we received a very positive response to the plan from artists, suppliers and collaborators. UPDATE Like the rest of the world, we are closely following the development of the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences with horror. Our national authority guidelines and decisions change almost daily, and we know as little as everyone else about when the epidemic may be over and life can begin to return to normal. In recent weeks, we have been working diligently to investigate the possibilities of postponing the festival. Status We understand that many of you are wondering what''s going to happen, but we would like to assure you that we are still continuing the preparations for our upcoming festival. We are following the developments and guidelines carefully, and if there are any change to our plans we will of course inform you about it.

Update Last night, the Swedish government decided to - for the time being - restrict all gatherings of more than 500 people. Since then, many of you have contacted us with questions regarding how this will affect the festival. We understand that the current situation is contributing to a worry and stress, but as there are still several months to go until the festival, the plan to go through with Sweden Rock Festival the 3-6th June still stands.
