They have travelled from North and South Carolina, through Alabama and Tennessee, to the Meat Capital of Texas - to be inspired and learn from some of the best BBQ kitchens in the world. They have imported the best smokers and given them a new home here in South of Sweden. In their home town Höganäs they are celebrated as "Best Restaurant of the Year", "Entrepreneur of the Year" and "Food Ambassador of the Year". Their restaurant has also been praised by the White Guide... AND NOW THEY ARE COMING TO SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL! As you can tell, we are happy to present this new and exciting cooperation with HOLY SMOKE BBQ, a culinary concept that will give our festival visitors the chance to experience true American BBQ at its best. CONFIRMED: TALISMAN - A TRIBUTE TO MARCEL JACOB We're incredibly happy to announce that Talisman - A Tribute to Marcel Jacob is confirmed for this summer's festival! Marcel Jacob (1964-2009) who would've turned 60 this year, was Talisman's bassist and undisputed leader. In his honor, the band's music will be performed by his surviving bandmates - singer Jeff Scott Soto, guitarist Fredrik Åkesson and drummer Jamie Borger. Bassist Johan Niemann (Evergrey) completes the lineup, in a way that guarantees that classics like "I'll be waiting", "Mysterious" and "Colour my XTC" will be played in a way worthy of one of Sweden's greatest hard rock bands ever.
